On March 1, 2018, the Jefferson County CARE program wrapped up another successful program year. Twenty-three high schools invited attorneys to make 74 classroom presentations over the two-day blitz. The program delivered credit education content to 1,850 students in Louisville. Local television stations sent cameras and crew to capture some of the presentations. The CARE program in Jefferson County is a partnership with Louisville Bar Association and Jefferson County Public Schools funded by the Kentucky Bar Foundation. The CARE Leadership Committee is composed of representatives of the 12 largest law firms, Legal Aid Society and committed solo practitioners. The program has been a service to high schools for 11 years.
